Countdown to JavaScript 🔥

Here are 4 updates you might find helpful!

1. I learned JavaScript by completing the FreeCodeCamp certificate, and it took me forever and was rather challenging. Until recently, it’s been the recommended method for learning JavaScript if you follow the Learn to Code Roadmap, but in 5 days it’ll be replaced by a brand new JavaScript course that will take you from zero to hero in only a fraction of the time. The course is mum proof - my mum doesn’t know how to code and she was able to follow along; so you’ll breeze to the finish and be a JavaScript wizard in no time. A great addition to the roadmap no doubt and the course will be announced in the newsletter as well as on the YT channel!

2. Very soon i’ll be releasing a video about How I study as a software developer. One of the methods I discuss in the video requires a bit of knowledge about the Markdown language. Hence the tutorial this week 😛 Might be worth watching - link is below!

3. Also, if you’ve ever been wondering whether or not you should focus on LeetCode, in another video linked below, I share that I did not in-fact LeetCode, and also explain what I did instead to land a job.

4. And finally, to promote the community presence on LinkedIn, and to make sharing content and peoples posts etc easier, I have made a LinkedIn page for the Smoljames channel called Smoljames Education. Go ahead and follow the page, and if you tag the page in any posts, I’ll reshare them on my page to help give your post some extra visibility 😛
