Did Someone Say ... Stickers?! š„
Because there's stickers, loads of stickers :P
Jeepers creepers boy do we have lots to catch up on. In this weeks mail out weāve got some new miscellaneous goods for sale, two banger videos (on tutorial hell and building the ultimate developer portfolio with only HTML & CSS), thereās a brand new roadmap with some cool new links and weāre less than two weeks away from the release of the JavaScript Course!
ā The Smolnyr Sticker Set
Do you know someone who is a programmer? Then you should know this. Programmers often suffer from a syndrome known as The Hyper Intellectual Burden. Due to their immense intelligence, they become isolated, as people with average intellect just canāt keep up with coders living life on 10x. As tech gets better, the syndrome gets worse, but you can help bring some color back into the lives of programmers this 2024 by gifting them one of these colorful programmer personality stickers.
PS - I may or may not have made up this syndrome.
ā Tutorial Hell & Web Portfolios
This week weāve got some new cool videos too! One discusses the plight of tutorial hell, explains what it is, and also how to befriend it so that you donāt need to avoid tutorials in general as if they weāre the plague.
The second, is a tutorial for building a SUPREME web developer portfolio with only HTML & CSS. Anyone can do it and I love it because of itās simplicity; it looks elegant and does everything a portfolio needs to do, yet itās also so elegant and minimal. You can see my version here.
ā The NEW Learn-to-code Roadmap
Thereās also a new roadmap! Out with the old and in with the new. While the old roadmap was a winner, and itās still available for those who arenāt so keen on change, the new one has some newer resources and is laid out in a more coherent and coordinated manner so that each lesson builds off the last, while still being a standalone tutorial.
Might be worth taking a look!
ā The Complete JavaScript Course: Zero to Hero!
Less than 2 weeks until my JavaScript course will be live on Udemy. Itās taken a while but almost all of the delays are due to revisions that Iāve deemed necessary to make the course even better. After countless hours refining the lessons, the examples, the projects, the resources, and just about everything else, I truly believe itās going to be the best JavaScript course on the market.
Also thank you to everyone who may have participated in the community polls of late! Yaāll helped me settle on the course thumbnail and name.
Zero to Hero only just won lol
Glad the channel theme won over but it was close at times!
Stay cool friends and Iāll see you next week :P
